Perky Hold' Em Rules for Charity Event

1) Cards talk.

2) Any card dealt face up by mistake is DEAD. It stays face up in the Muck pile.

3) A verbal "Call" such as fold, raise, check, etc is a contract.

4) If someone doesn't want to deal, and someone agrees to deal for him or   her, it is acceptable as long as the original order is maintained.

5) You can leave the table at any time; your hand will be folded when it is your turn. If you're in the BLINDS, you will forfeit those chips.

6) There will be a 5-minute break on the HOUR.

7) The original dealer "button" will be determined by the luck of the draw. If you drew seat one, you deal the first hand. Seat 2 is the “small blind” and seat three is the “big blind”.

8) At no time can a player use a substitute.

9) Any disorderly conduct, overly abusive language or Cheating will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection.

10) All chips must remain on the table at all times. During breaks, chips are to remain at the table.

11) As seats open up and players are moved to fill in, it will be at the sole discretion of the tournament director. A player moving to a new table will never be in the small or big blind. He can play the hand but the blind skips over him. This applies to the first two hands at the new table.

12) Based on a full field of 33 players, first place is $240, second place is $140,  third place is $80 and fourth place is $40.. If two people go out at the same time, the one with the most chips in the pot will be awarded the higher prize.

13) Each player will start with 925 in chips. Blinds start out at 10 and 20. The blinds will increase every thirty minutes,         25/50,  50/100, 75 /150, (at this point the 10 and 25 point chips will be replaced with 200 chips), 100/200, etc. etc.

14) If a player has 100 in chips and the blind or the bet is 400, and he bets his 100 then the "Mainpot" will be 100 X the number of players that called the bet. The rest of the chips go into a “sidepot”.

15) All large chips will remain near the front of your chip pile.

16) As a courtesy to the dealer, do not cover your “hole cards” with your hands. If you’re playing, your cards should be in front of you. If you fold they belong in the “muck pile”.
